Who We Are

At Recovery Coaching Services, we believe that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey—it’s personal, complex, and deeply human. Since our founding, we have committed ourselves to walking alongside individuals and families affected by Substance Use Disorder, offering support that is both compassionate and strategic in a non-residential environment for men, women, and adolescents. .

We take a holistic approach to recovery, addressing the many dimensions of the disease by combining key services that target emotional, behavioral, and social aspects of healing. Our core offerings include:

  • Recovery Coaching – Personalized, peer to peer support to help individuals set and reach recovery goals with accountability and encouragement.

  • Peer Groups – Safe, judgment-free spaces where individuals can share experiences, build community, and grow together.

  • Intervention Services – Professional guidance to help families navigate the often-difficult process of confronting addiction and beginning the path to change.

Each of our services is grounded in a custom treatment plan, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual or family. Whether someone is just starting their recovery journey or working to maintain long-term sobriety, we’re here to provide the right support, at the right time, in the right way.

To ensure accessibility and comfort, we offer our services in a variety of settings—in our office, in clients’ homes, and out in the community. Wherever recovery happens, we go there.

We’re not just a service provider. We’re a partner in healing—because recovery takes a village, and no one should have to go it alone.

Our Core Values

1. Compassion

We lead with empathy and understanding, recognizing that each person's journey through addiction and recovery is deeply personal. We meet individuals and families where they are—with respect, patience, and kindness.

2. Integrity

We operate with honesty, transparency, and professionalism in every interaction. Trust is the foundation of recovery, and we honor that trust through ethical, accountable practices.

3. Individualized Care

No two recovery journeys are the same. We believe in creating treatment plans that reflect each person's unique needs, goals, and life circumstances.

4. Empowerment

Our goal is not just to support recovery, but to inspire lasting change. We equip individuals with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to lead fulfilling lives in recovery.

5. Collaboration

Recovery is a team effort. We work alongside clients, families, peers, and other professionals to build strong support systems and coordinated care.

6. Accessibility

Recovery should be within reach for everyone. That’s why we offer our services in the office, in homes, and in the community—to reduce barriers and meet people where they are.

7. Community

Healing happens in connection. We foster a sense of belonging through peer groups and community engagement, helping individuals rebuild relationships and purpose.

8. Hope

We believe in the power of recovery and in the possibility of transformation. Every person has the capacity to heal—and we are here to help them believe it, too.

Our Treatment Plans

Building Recovery Capital, One Domain at a Time

At Recovery Coaching Services, we understand that successful recovery extends beyond abstinence—it involves rebuilding every area of life. That’s why we create individualized treatment plans that support the development of recovery capital: the internal and external resources a person needs to initiate and sustain recovery.

Each plan is collaboratively developed with the individual (and their family when appropriate), and is tailored to reflect their unique goals, values, and circumstances. These plans are not static—they evolve as recovery progresses, offering flexibility and ongoing support.

Our treatment plans address multiple domains essential to long-term success:

1. Recovery

Core focus on substance use behaviors, relapse prevention, support systems, and recovery pathways (e.g., 12-step, SMART Recovery, harm reduction, etc.).

2. Health & Wellness

Physical and mental health goals, including access to medical and behavioral health services, nutrition, sleep hygiene, and stress management.

3. Housing & Transportation

Stable, safe living environments and access to reliable transportation—both critical for maintaining treatment, employment, and community connections.

4. Employment & Education

Support in finding meaningful work, completing educational goals, building vocational skills, and preparing for long-term career development.

5. Family Relationships & Social Life

Rebuilding trust, improving communication, and strengthening healthy relationships within family systems and broader social networks.

6. Recreation, Leisure & Hobbies

Encouraging healthy, substance-free activities that foster joy, creativity, and community engagement.

7. Spirituality

Support in exploring personal beliefs, purpose, and connection—whether through religious, spiritual, or secular lenses.

8. Life Skills

Development of practical skills for independent living, including time management, financial literacy, organization, and decision-making.

9. Other Areas of Focus

Any additional goals or barriers identified by the individual that are relevant to their recovery journey, such as legal issues, parenting, or grief support.

By addressing each of these domains, we help clients build a strong foundation for sustainable recovery—not just from substance use, but toward a full, meaningful life. Our role is to guide, support, and walk alongside every person as they move from surviving to thriving.
